Frequently Asked Questions

  • I have a different questions, how do I contact you?
Reach out! Contact us at connect@vibrantnaturopathic.com
  • Are your services covered by insurance?
Most extended health care benefits will cover appointments with Naturopathic Doctors. Some will also cover special testing and supplement prescriptions. Always reach out to your provider to find out what kind of coverage they provide! At this time the clinic does not direct bill.
  • Do you offer special testing and lab work?
I sure do! But there’s more to that story; while I have access to things like Dutch hormone testing, Food Sensitivity Testing and regular blood work, that doesn’t mean it’s where I make us start. I find a thorough intake (which mine is) can give us so much information already that these types of tests aren’t always necessary. But my job is to give you all your options for testing and treatment, so I’ll make sure you understand when and why we may want to include these types of tests.
  • Hours of Operation
I keep my office hours to a few days a week - at the moment Tuesday and Wednesdays are days for 1:1 patient visits. Why? I also take my job as “mom” and “wife” pretty seriously (who am I kidding, not that serious!) and I try to keep a good home/work balance schedule.
  • Will I leave your office with a bucket full of supplements to take?
No. Maybe? Lol. Look supplements are a great tool to use when trying to reach a particular health goal. So the “maybe” really depends on what we’re trying to achieve with said supplement. But in general, no. I try to be strategic about what supplements are recommended, why and for how long. What I love about Naturopathic Medicine and its ability to provide a tool box that includes way more than just supplements. We’ll talk lifestyle and habits, we’ll talk diet, we’ll talk spirituality, and anything else that feels relevant.
  • Can you actually help with my "fill in health condition"?
Yes. I truly believe I can help with almost any condition. Here’s the thing, Naturopathic Medicine is about whole health, not just one system or symptom. So yes, maybe you will still need surgery for your severe endometriosis (let’s keep all options open!) but working on whole body health, means your recovery time will be less, your chance of recurrence to that same level is less, and you’ll know more about how to keep your body in optimal health moving forward. I’d say that’s a win-win.
